Bristol Day at the Ballpark

Well, the outcome of this year's Bristol Day at the Ballpark was much better than it's been in past years, and the weather was fantastic. Walt - much to the surprise of his parents - was able to hang in there for just about the entire game. The Cardinals beat the cubs 8-2, and everyone had a very good time. Here are some pictures:

This is Walt with one of his favorite aunts (and a juicebox):

And here, Walt's having some fun with Nik:

Big Machines

On Saturday morning, Walt and Dad met Gavin, Nik, Kelly, and Gavin's grandparents at a Big Machines demonstration. It was at a construction yard, and they had all types of Big Machines on Display:

This is Walt standing in front of a front-end loader:

Here he is getting a closer look:

And this is Walt and Gavin at the controls. I don't know who's actually working the stick, but you can be sure that no good will come of this:

Easter at the Wichards

We traveled to Cape for the weekend to celebrate Easter with Bob's family. Everyone was very impressed with how verbal walt is, and how many numbers and letters he recognizes. Here are some pictures from our Egg Hunt and some of walt snuggling with his favorite people.

LET'S GO BLUES!!!!

Bob surprised me one morning, I went to change Walt's diaper and there on his belly was the blue note. The Blues made the playoffs, it is a BIG deal in our life.

Check out the tattoo and the belly!

Walt Dancing

Well, this is short and sweet!

Walt loving on Aunt Jessica

Walt has a huge love affair going with his Aunt Jessica, who he refers to as "CaCa". When he sees her he jumps up and down and yells her name.

He has been talking a ton lately! He copies us, so we have been trying to be more cautious in our speaking. :) He loves to play bubbles outside. The slide is his favorite thing at the park.

He is still a great eater, although is more vocal with his likes.

Walt watches "Dora" at Peggy's (his sitter) house, so he loves seeing Dora and talking about Dora. It is pretty cute.

Here is a video of him playing with Jessica and Troy at our Thursday night hangout Blues City Deli.
