Grant's Farm

We went out to Grant's Farm yesterday (sunday) and saw the animals. Walt seemed to be really looking forward to it?!? But when the camel was feet from him, he was more interested in reading the map....

BFF

I wonder if Gavin and Walt are the youngest best friends ever. Wow! They are so super cute together. They played in the pool yesterday, ate the same food, both had to wear a hoodie (with the hood on), and at the end of the night both wanted their pacifiers and blankets to snuggle with. They are just the cutest.

Arch

We went down to the Arch grounds on Saturday. I love this picture of my boys.

walt always wants everyone's sunglasses so we got him some of his own, they are slightly big, but he loves them.

Western Springs Western Springs its our kind of town...

Western Springs does not have the same "ring" as Chicago. :) Anyway we traveled to Western Springs to see Jenny and her boys Louis and Miles (and her husband Neal). It has been a while since we have seen each other so it was great to introduce them to Walt and for Jenny and I to have some time to talk. The boys were great with Walt- Thanks Guys!

Lake Zurich Lake Zurich, it's our kind of town!

We traveled up north of Chicago to Lake Zurich to spend some time with the Janecke Family. They just welcomed Cecilia into the world on bob's birthday May 13. Walt loved playing with the 2 older kids Sydney and Grant. I just realized I have no pictures of the baby. I think that traveling for almost a week with a 22 month old, took some of my brain power away!

Chicago, Chicago, it's our kind of town!

Walt and I went on a tour of Chicago and the suburbs last week. We tried to see a lot of friends and we had a lot of fun. I was going to post as we went, but I forgot my computer cord, so it was a little difficult. I also didn't get pictures of all of our friends but here are some.

Walt is talking A LOT! He loves to sing in the car with me, and I really love to sing with him. He loves to "drive" any car around. And he has just started to get a little Thomas the Train crazy.

These pictures are of Amanda's daughter Claire who is 17 months and Walt in the car together looking at each other and then walt LOVED her pink car.

City Garden

There is a brand new sculpture garden in the center of downtown st louis. It was mainly funded by a local foundation. It is full of water and sculptures. We went there tonight with jessica. Walt loved checking out all of the water features, as well as the other kids that were there enjoying the new park.

Out Front

We found walt this awesome trike at a garage sale. Yes, we have become my grandparents. We love to go to garage sales on Saturday mornings.

This morning we got out the trike and airplane to tool around the neighborhood in, we only got about a house, but still had fun.

Today Walt left with grandma to go to Iowa for the 4th of July weekend. I am sure that they will have a blast.
