First Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
Grandma Ginther came into town for the weekend. We had a fun and busy weekend. Saturday we started the morning by going to a pumpkin patch over the river in Illinois. It was fun. Walt really liked the piles of hay. He liked tasting the hay as well. We played and played and then we got some pumpkins and headed home.
When you come to visit us we will probably (or already have) take you to Blues City Deli. It is on our corner. Saturday they were celebrating their 4th Anniversary. They blocked out part of our street and had a street fest. It was a fun day! I hope that they do it every year.
Mommy's Favorite Walking Video
Bob posted the first walking video. I love this video as he attacks me with his walking.

Walking - kind of
Well, he's sort of stumbly at this point, but he's definitely making some inroads toward walking. We've attached a video. Enjoy:

The Zoo!
The weather here in St Louis has been amazing this fall. We are enjoying days of 70s and 80s. This morning we took a quick trip to the zoo. The St Louis Zoo is a wonderful. Walt is finally paying attention to the animals and just laughs when he sees them. He rode the carousel for the first time. He did ok for the first minute and then we held him. (what a baby).
If you will notice Mommy did not venture in with the goats, she is scared of them (what a baby!).

Opening Night Number Two
Walt has definitely changed in a year. In going through some old blog postings, I came across the picture that we took before opening night last year for the Blues. We decided to do a then-and-now with another picture in Walt's jersey. He's definitely grown a ton.... He looks ready to drop the mittens and have a little scrap.
I hope that everyone is doing well, and Walt sends his love.

Random pictures
Because I have not been as on top of the blog like I should, here are some random pictures from the last month.
Baby Claire came down with her parents, walt was really interested in the flowers on her dress.
We went to Blues (hockey) Fest, Walt is sitting on bob's lap while watching a scrimmage.
Walt and I are all ready for opening night of football in our Vikings gear.
And we said good-bye to our favorite neighbors this week. Chris, Michele, and Nolan headed north for Detroit. We are so sad to see them go. Walt and Nolan kissed good-bye.
movies- short, but sweet
I promised these about a week ago. The week got away from me.
One is of his hi-five skills and the other one shows his tounge!

GO BIG RED?!?!
This weekend it was a split house for the Nebraska v. Missouri game. Walt only has Nebraska gear, so he was cheering for the BIG RED. (although he was asleep before the game even started). His aunt Jessica and uncle Troy went there for undergrad. Most of you most know that Mizzou killed Nebraska, but Walt tried his best. :) Although if you notice he was a little shy to show his face to the camera.
